I want to thank Warren Eastveld and WGEM Montreal Radio on the Internet for featuring the Encore NDG Singing Chorus and our song Thank You For Being A Friend (theme song of The Golden Girls). Mr Eastveld's introduction of our song and debut of our chorus was more than I could have hoped for. We are a community chorus with big dreams. Many of our members are new to singing for the public and even our more experienced singers haven't experienced having their singing being broadcast by independent media. We are excited about the prospect of having more of our songs broadcast on WGEM Montreal radio, and hope that our chorus can provide you with more content in the future! Perhaps one day, our chorus can sing for your station live in studio too!

I would like to extend a big thank you to Warren Eastveld for the warm welcome and wonderful opportunity to sing on WGEM radio - live on the air! It is not everyday one gets such an offer .

It was thrilling to hear our names announced on the radio not once, but twice,  and to be referred to as a special treat that the listeners do not want to miss. My father, really enjoyed listening to the show, not only because we were featured in it , but also because he is a musician himself,  and really appreciated the musical variety.  Being on the radio , is exactly the type of exposure that I and many like myself look for and need, to make it in the professional world.  Aspiring creatives need visibility, and you have provided.

Warren, thank you for helping people's dreams become reality!

When I joined the Encore chorus, I never expected to be on the radio!! When I heard about the chorus, I just thought that I would just have fun singing. I never expected to hear myself on the radio. Hearing us on the radio was thrilling. I was so proud of all of us !! 

Thank you, WGEM Montreal, for giving me, and our chorus, the opportunity by playing us on the radio.

I hope that we will hear ourselves on the radio again soon!!

This was the first time I ever did a studio recording, it was a lot of fun. Then getting to hear our recording on the radio was really cool. Thank you to WGEM Montreal for allowing us the chance to be heard by people that can never come to our concerts because they don’t live nearby. I’m excited to see what comes next for us.

It was great to hear our song in the internet radio. I liked the way it was announced and the whole aesthetics of the emission.  It was the first time I ‘tuned’ to WGEM and after that day it is the one I go for to listen to the best pop music. I recommended it and shared the link to other people.

I’m looking forward to record other songs in our repertoire that can be broadcasted in radio.
