Kimberly - Tenor
*I am Kimberley Anuvia Hensen – Anuvia is my Spirit name and means “A New way of Life”*
I am a very musical, spiritual and artistic soul who comes from a musical family. You may in fact remember my father, the “Ukelele Guy”, who was on TV during the 2017 floods where he was featured singing encouraging songs to lift the spirit of the community from the front porch of his house.
I have been in many choirs/music groups in my life and continue to enjoy singing with the Trailblazers of Roxboro United church where I have been a soprano for 7 years. Some of the choirs I have been in include the Hugonotten Choir of Berlin, Germany, the Milton Choristers, and Spectrum Vocal Ensemble. My childhood years were largely spent sitting in front of the record player singing along to the music. Writing songs was also a hobby. I have an interest in theatre and have acted in Dracula, as well as the musicals The Music Man and Damn Yankees.
I am a highly intuitive Spirit Artist and Medium. The primary way I communicate with Spirit is through song (of course!) and art. In a semi trance I sing and also drum - healing songs many of them tribal, in the language of the ancestors. Contact me to sing at your event and be sure to ask about my other services, such as therapeutic art sessions, and guidance with special diets i.e. gluten free and dairy free. (30 + years life experience) – I successfully healed multiple food sensitivities of mine through art and song! Guided Fairy walks are also available.
Born to Spiritually minded parents, I came into this world with my third eye wide open, and could see into the dimensions as a child. As a toddler, I often gazed into the sky and told my parents stories about the clouds, and would communicate with the moon. It felt sometimes as if its surface were just a hop skip and a jump away.
Many years later, in my teenage years, I visited a well known Spiritualist camp in Indiana, called Camp Chesterfield. It was there that I was introduced to spirit art and was told that I have the gift. It would show itself to me in divine timing. Three years ago, after a period of soul searching and regular intense meditation, divine timing came to pass, and one day in the throes of creation, I discovered that my hand started to move by itself. It was not long before I began drawing and painting all sorts of fascinating things like biblical scenes and very old architecture. My art is for sale!
Art heals on so may levels.
One of the things that spirit art does, is connect you to your “past” lives. It unlocks deep seated memories and allows you to heal suppressed emotions. Emotions from this life, and emotions from even thousands of years ago. The movement of the brush, or whatever medium you use, I started with crayons, literally moves the trauma out of the system.
Hope to see you at one of the Chorus’s concerts. Perhaps you would like to become a member! I would be honoured to help you on your spiritual journey, and look forward to meeting you! Visit my website (which I am still working on) at:
