Roselyn - Harmony Singer and Unison Singer
Roselyn has been involved in diverse music all her life. Her love of music and singing comes from her Irish roots on her mother’s side. It began in the school choir, followed by church folk group and an indie pop group. She progressed to soprano in the Southampton City Coral which focussed mainly on Oratorio. She played clarinet in the Southampton Youth Orchestra and her love of Jazz grew in the Southampton Wind Band. In London she was engaged in the Westminster Cathedral folk group for voice and Clarinet.
Then medical diagnosis caused her to not walk for two years but she healed herself trained and began to practice as a Master of Integrated Complementary Healthcare. Her client nominated her for Cosmopolitan Women of The Year where she was in the 100 finalists.
Since then she developed and nurtured her experience in the Singing, Sound Healing and Chanting world.
For 35 years she has played Namasankirtana, She has played Harmonium, Cymbals and Tampura for SYDA Music throughout their global centres at retreats and other Yoga and Healing Centres.
She played the lead role of Carmen for three live performances with full Orchestra in Bizets Carmen for the Winterbourne Dauntsey Opera, UK for the Charity Hope and homes for children orphaned in wars and disasters.
She studied at Bedales School of Music in the UK, and received honors for Classical voice at McGills Schulich School of Music (University of Montreal). Where she also dipped her toe in the Jazz singing world.
Her musical goal is to uplift people with her voice whether through her sound healing sessions or performing and encourage people to sing for their health and wellness.
Roselyn currently practices locally and online, since 35 years as a Master of Integrated Complementary Healthcare and Naturopath, with a focus on prevention and longevity. Using tools such as 5 Elements Energy Healing, Vocal Sound Healing, Singing, Ayurvedic and Chinese Herbal Remedies, Food Science for Longevity, Yoga and Exercise.
